Zoonotic diseases have come to the attention of the general public in recent years due to SARS,
AIDS and Mad Cow Disease.
There is a great need for research in these areas to develop better diagnostics and treatments.

This is a partial list of the diseases in the area, or suspected in the area that area zoonotic, affecting both man and animal.  Man has traditionally lived close to the animals, therefore CDHIFI treats both Humans and Animals.  It would be of no use to treat one and not the other.
